Submitting a booking request through our website does not guarantee the booking is confirmed. A booking is only confirmed once we contact you and agree on the date, time, location and service required.
We may refuse, cancel or reschedule a booking if:
-
The work is unsafe to complete on-site

The location is unsuitable
-
Required parts are unavailable
-
The vehicle condition is different from what was described
-
The requested repair is not appropriate for mobile work
-
Weather, access, safety or other circumstances prevent the work from being completed
4. Quotes and Estimates
Any quote or estimate provided is based on the information available at the time. Prices may change if further faults, extra labour, additional parts, seized components, incorrect information, previous poor repairs, modifications or hidden damage are found.
We will seek your approval before carrying out additional work that changes the agreed price, unless urgent action is required for safety or to prevent damage.
Quoted prices may include parts, labour, GST and call-out fees where applicable. Any inclusions or exclusions will be explained in the quote.
5. Diagnostics and Inspections
Diagnostics and inspections are based on the vehicle’s condition at the time of inspection and the information available during testing.
A diagnostic inspection does not guarantee that every fault will be found immediately, especially where faults are intermittent, hidden, electrical, internal, weather-dependent or require further strip-down testing.
A pre-purchase inspection is a visual and functional inspection only. It is not a warranty, guarantee, roadworthy certificate, engineering certificate or guarantee of future reliability.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
-
Provide accurate details about the vehicle and the issue
-
Ensure the vehicle is accessible at the agreed location
-
Provide keys, security codes, locking wheel nut keys and any relevant information
-
Ensure there is safe working space around the vehicle
-
Make sure the vehicle is not parked in an unsafe or illegal location
-
Tell us about any known faults, modifications, previous repairs or safety concerns
-
Ensure permission has been given if the vehicle is not owned by you
If we arrive and cannot complete the job due to access, incorrect information, unsafe conditions or customer cancellation, a call-out or cancellation fee may apply.
7. Parts and Materials
Parts may be supplied by Frostline Mechanical & Auto or by the customer if agreed before the job.
Where customer-supplied parts are used:
-
We do not warrant the quality, fitment or suitability of those parts
-
Extra labour may be charged if the part is incorrect, faulty or difficult to fit
-
Any warranty claim for the part must be handled by the customer with the part supplier
-
Labour to remove or refit faulty customer-supplied parts may be charged separately
Where we supply parts, manufacturer or supplier warranties may apply in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods may include bank transfer, card payment, cash or other approved payment methods.
Invoices must be paid by the due date shown on the invoice. Late or unpaid invoices may result in recovery action, additional administration costs, debt collection costs or refusal of future services.
Ownership of supplied parts remains with Frostline Mechanical & Auto until payment has been made in full.
9. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
A cancellation, no-show or call-out fee may apply if:
-
You cancel at short notice
-

The vehicle cannot be accessed
-
The job cannot proceed due to incorrect information supplied

The site is unsafe or unsuitable

Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
Where a problem occurs with work performed by Frostline Mechanical & Auto, you must contact us as soon as possible and give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle and assess the issue.
Warranty does not apply where the issue is caused by:

This does not limit any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
12. Vehicle Safety and Test Drives
