DPF Diagnostic / Forced Regeneration from $250
Is your diesel vehicle showing a DPF warning light, in limp mode, or not completing a regeneration? Frostline Mechanical & Auto offers mobile DPF diagnostic and forced regeneration services to help identify DPF-related faults and restore vehicle performance where possible.
We carry out a diagnostic scan to check for fault codes, DPF soot levels, sensor readings, and related system faults before attempting a forced regeneration. If the vehicle is safe and suitable, we can perform a scan-tool assisted DPF regeneration and provide advice on any further repairs or maintenance required.
What’s included:
- Mobile call-out
- Diagnostic scan of DPF-related systems
- Check and record fault codes
- Check DPF soot/load data where available
- Check related sensor readings where applicable
- Forced DPF regeneration where safe and suitable
- Clear fault codes where suitable
- Advice on recommended next steps
Suitable for:
Diesel vehicles with DPF warning lights, limp mode, blocked DPF symptoms, failed automatic regenerations, soot accumulation, or DPF-related fault codes.
Travel:
Travel is included within 30km. Locations over 30km will incur an additional travel charge of $1 per km for every kilometre outside the included 30km travel zone.
Example: If the vehicle is located 45km away, the additional travel charge would be $15.
Additional diagnostic time:
The starting price includes up to 1 hour of diagnostic/regen time. Any additional diagnostic time required after the first hour will be charged at $110 per hour incl. GST.
Additional time will be discussed with the customer before continuing.
Please note:
A forced DPF regeneration can only be performed if the vehicle is safe and suitable to do so. If the DPF is too heavily blocked, the vehicle has major fault codes, failed sensors, low fuel, low coolant, oil dilution, exhaust leaks, or other issues, the regeneration may not be completed until the fault is repaired.
If the vehicle is not suitable for a forced DPF regeneration, or the DPF regeneration cannot be completed due to faults, safety concerns, excessive soot load, failed sensors, or vehicle conditions, a $110 incl. GST call-out fee will still apply.
A DPF regeneration does not guarantee the DPF will remain clear if there is an underlying issue causing the blockage. Further diagnosis, repairs, parts, cleaning, or replacement may be required and will be quoted separately.
